Easter Weekend Road Trip

Back in the early days of our relationship, Mike and I decided to take a road trip to Florida to look at property for a winter home and so he could meet my daughter, son in-law and lovely granddaughter, Miss Savannah. I must say that I did not take as many photos as I should have for this trip but maybe next time. Anyway, after looking at property in the Palatka area we headed off to other parts of Florida to drive by perspective houses. Along the way I spied a sign,,Vineyard Ahead. Of course we had to stop and check it out. The place is called Tangled Oaks Vineyard and its in Grandin, Florida which is somewhere between Palatka and Keystone Heights.
We enjoyed the tasting and Mike purchased a couple of bottles of wine for us to enjoy at the hotel that night.
There was a lovely old Live Oak tree outside the tasting room and gift shop.
After our wine tasting break, we were back on the road,,,,somewhere,,,,,
So we pulled over and Mike plugged the hotel's address into Gypsy, our TomTom GPS.
Off we went again down the back roads of Florida.
We got to our hotel and had a quiet evening. The next morning we met my daughter and son in-law for Easter Brunch. Miss Savannah was the perfect little lady and slept through most of the meal. I am looking forward to my next trip to see her.
